The boarding of La Martiniere Girls' College can be considered as a big happy family. It is a home away from home, a second home to all the resident students.
The school provides very good boarding facility. Students from other countries also come to study in this most prestigious school, L.M.G.C.
There is a Hostel Superintendent, two dormitory Matrons, a qualified Nurse and two housekeepers who take care of the food section. Special food is provided to all the boarders on festivals and other such occasions. The food supplied is healthy and nutritious.
The boarders play games like volleyball, basketball, badminton, tennis and table tennis every evening. Swimming and judo are also taught.
The fee structure for the boarders for the session 2010-2011 is as follows for the entire year:-(subject to change)

Class XII Science only-Optional subject -Students who have opted for Biology only to add Rs420/-,Biotechnology only to add Rs.900/- and those who have opted for both the subjects to add Rs.1320/- to the first quarter fees to be deposited in April,2010.
RESIDENT STAFF
No. of resident staff : 19
There are family quarters and well- furnished rooms for the single teachers.
Teachers are given the duty of looking after the boarders’ meals, studies and games by rotation.
BOARDERS’ ROUTINE
There are approximately 140 boarders.
There are separate dormitories for baby boarders, middle school boarders and senior school boarders.
The daily routine of the boarders is :-
5:30 a.m. - Rising bell.
5:30 – 6:00 a.m. – Dress
6:00 – 7:00 a.m. – Study time/Games
7:00 a.m. – Breakfast
7:20 – 2:15 p.m. – School hours
2:20 p.m. – Lunch
2:45 – 3:45 p.m. – Resting time/(Tuition time for Boarders who have opted for tuitions)
3:45 – 4:00 p.m. – Changing for games
4:00 p.m. – Tea
4:30 – 5:30 p.m. – Games
5:30 – 7:30 p.m. – Evening study
7:30 p.m. – Dinner
8:00 – 8:15 p.m. – Changing for the night
8:15 p.m. - Bedtime for baby and junior boarders
8:00 – 9:00 p.m. – Study for senior boarders
9:00 p.m. –changing and bedtime for seniors
On Saturdays and Sundays the parents/local guardians are allowed to meet their wards.
On Sundays the Christian boarders are escorted to church.
Admission:
Candidates may seek admission as resident scholars in the junior and middle sections of the College. No new resident scholars are admitted in the senior classes. The parents / guardians of a student seeking admission as a resident scholar are required to give an undertaking at the time of admission that the student will not ask for a change of status (boarder to day scholar) for a minimum period of three years.
