APPEAL FOR VOLUNTARY ASSISSTANCE
Dear Friend,
Established in 1869, La Martiniere Girls’ College, through its
continued dedication to pioneering education and maintaining
school traditions, has earned its reputation as one of the
leading educational institutions not just in India but in the world.
It is a medium sized college offering educational programmes
through three faculties: - Humanities, Commerce and Science.
It is affiliated to the Indian School Certificate Education Board
(ICSE and ISC) based in New Delhi. More than two thousand,
four hundred full-time students attend the College.
La Martiniere Girls’ College has rendered quality education and
offered matchless opportunities in the fields of games, co
curricular activities, social work and community service to
generations of girls. When your daughter passes from the precincts
of her alma mater she will be a LMGC Standard Bearer equipped
with sound values, a sound education and every quality essential
for taking on life’s challenges with confidence and conviction.
This is what we firmly believe and we know you share our belief.
Over the years we have included more and more subject options to
our curriculum to give our students better choices for their
higher education. The ever increasing demand for admissions
has resulted in the addition of new classrooms and laboratories,
an extension of the school auditorium and the school library as well.
To meet the
ever increasing
demand
for good complete
education, La
Martiniere Girls' College now announces the addition of yet another
new academic block which will be ready for use by March 2009.
The new school block will have: Fifteen classrooms, a new library,
two audio visual rooms and a teachers’ workshop.
We have taken on this gigantic challenge as we believe in being futuristic. The
project however, will incur heavy expenditure and monumental bank loans which are
not covered by the school fees.
It is natural for us to turn to our well wishers for support at such
times and we are sure you will offer your assistance generously.
Your voluntary contribution will enable La Martiniere Girls' College
to keep its tuition as affordable as possible so that more families
have the opportunity to provide their daughters with quality
education, which will benefit thousands of students who will pass through the
portals of this institution.
